**Key duties and responsibilities**
- Through outbound sales calls and using qualified leads, generate new customers who order from us on a regular and ongoing basis.
- Manage customer relationships and communications through regular follow-up calls.
- Grow sales with existing customer through expanding the range and volume of products they stock.
- Support the delivery of various sales campaigns.
- Develop and maintain a full understanding of all the products we sell.
- Gain product feedback from customers for use in ongoing marketing activities, product research and development.
- Keep our databases accurate and updated with details of all sales activity.
- Act at all times as an ambassador for the business.
- Look after our Sales mailboxes.
- Infrequently attend trade events

**Knowledge and Experience Required**
- Proven experience of growing and retaining sales in a business-to-business environment
- Excellent customer service and administrative skills
- Ability to the understand our customers' individual "drivers"
- Strong organisational skills and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Numerate and articulate with excellent communication skills
- Passionate about good food.
- True team player who values the contribution of others
- Experience of working within a food environment would be beneficial
