**Salary**: £37,789 +

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Leading on elements of Operational Excellence initiatives and responsible business behaviours
- Supporting, establishing and maintaining Operational Excellence strategy and objectives
- Supporting key business improvement initiatives
- Supporting the Operational Excellence Management team in addressing planned and unplanned tasks
- Analysing volumes of EAC data, and working with CAMs, CAM Supports and Cost Estimating in order to review any anomalies within the account.
- Use your skills in order to determine, communicate and influence Stakeholders to accept and take responsibility for opportunities.
- Enable Stakeholders to implement any opportunities.

**Your skills and experiences**:

- Working Knowledge of Project Management principles
- STEM based experience or Degree Qualified in STEM
- A background in Project Controls / CAM Support would be beneficial
- Working understanding of Operational Excellence / Continuous Improvement methodologies including Lean and Six Sigma and/or Lean Practitioner and/or Six Sigma qualified

**The Supply Chain team**:
You will be part of a team that is responsible for supporting the achievement of operational excellence across the BAE Submarines business through the delivery and co-ordination of strategically aligned business improvement projects. This includes ensuring that viable and sustainable solutions are developed using Continuous Improvement tools, techniques and project management principals taking into account process, systems, and people dynamics.

You will be also identifying opportunities across the Dreadnought Programme via Demand Accuracy in order to realise sustainable benefits which will make the Programme more affordable.

This is a new team on an exciting project, which is at a strategic level, giving you sight across the whole programme.
