**Job Title: Head of Supply Chain**

**Salary: up to £60,000 DOE**

**Location: South Kent**

Our client is looking for an experienced Head of Supply Chain to support the next stage of growth for this innovative construction company.

**Duties include**:

- Implement a supply chain strategy to achieve long term growth.
- Working closely with other departments to ensure excellent communication, implementation, and continued compliance to category.
- Increasing stock holding to 95% whilst maintaining all budgets and sales targets.
- Decrease the stock holding.
- Leading the supply chain team to achieve KPI’s and targets.
- Work with the marketing team to move overstocked products.
- Improve stock turn around by putting in place inventory control measures and making the most of the demand forecasting procedures.
- Ensure an easy transition of stock arriving to goods in and goods out.
- Oversee the EDI technology solutions within the business.
- Maintain and review contracts and relationships with all stakeholders within the business.
- Take responsibility for staff training and resources.
- Advance business performance to meet the business goals consisting of price, quality, and delivery.
- Working alongside the Commercial Director to prepare accurate monthly forecasts.
- Monthly 1:1s with direct reports
- Weekly and monthly reporting to show teams progress against KPI’s and targets.
- Promote day to day growth and improvements to the business.
- Keeping the department operating regarding Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Always promoting & demonstrating brand values.
- CIPS / MCIPS qualified
- Experience in a senior Supply Chain or similar position.
- Minimum 5 years leadership experience within the supply chain
- Experience of financial planning and risk assessment
- High knowledge of inventory management techniques, demand planning and supply chain best practices.
- Strong leadership and entrepreneurial skills.
- Strong negotiation skills and relationship skills
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Ability to problem solve supply chain issues.
