Are you a generalist Head of Communications with experience across branding, marketing, and comms? Are you a natural at cultivating relationships as well as designing and delivering creative and effective ways of delivering information? Do you have an eye for a good news story? Are you proactive in your approach and driven to deliver for our patients? If so, we would love to hear from you.
As Head of Communications, you will lead the function to build our brand across internal and external markets, to raise our profile and improve engagement and awareness of what we do, whilst aligning our approach to our strategic aims as an organisation.
You will bring your skills and experience to help us to communicate complex information to a range of different audiences in the most appropriate style. You will lead on and oversee the design of creative and effective ways of delivering information to our key stakeholders to ensure that they feel involved and invested in IC24’s service delivery and identify new opportunities for external engagement.
You will also help us navigate our world externally through the delivery of a proactive programme of external communications including promoting the organisation using social media, media relations, stakeholder relations and marketing opportunities. You will lead in anticipating and responding to media enquiries, but more importantly will have the eye for a good news story and be able to proactively promote the organisation.
As someone who is a natural at cultivating relationships, you will also empower our regional leadership teams to contribute to locally based stakeholder relations through developing close working relationships and the design of relevant and engaging toolkits.
**Who are we?**
We are Integrated Care 24 (IC24), the leading not for profit Social Enterprise providing innovative and patient focused primary care services. IC24 is committed to improving access to health and social care for our patients and reducing the demand on secondary care services. IC24 provides services to over 6 million patients, including GP led out-of-hours services, NHS 111, primary care, and secondary care support services.
**Location** Ashford, Kent with opportunity for hybrid working
**Hours** Full time 37.5 hours per week. Part time, 3- or 4-day week also considered. Standard working times are 9-5 Monday to Friday however flexibility is required to adjust your working hours in accordance with business needs.
