**Position**: 1361 Regional Programmes and Partnerships Support Officer - South Asia

**Location**: Remote

**Hours**: Full-time, 35 hours per week (flexible working available)

**Salary**: £28,480 per annum

**Contract**: Fixed Term Contract, starting on 2 October 2023 until 1 October 2025

**Closing Date**: Monday 7 August 2023

**The Role**

Your primary focus will be to act as a ‘desk officer’ to support the Regional Programmes and Partnerships Advisor (RPPA) - South Asia, to ensure the internal capacities, competencies and resources are in place to effectively deliver the strategy in support of donkey and mule welfare. You will support relationship management with strategic partners and assist in all administrative areas of the project cycle, in support of the expansion of programmatic work across the region.

Your principal duties and responsibilities will include:

- Ensuring demonstrable compliance with organisational policies and procedures, especially in relation to partner due diligence.
- Assisting in the development and maintenance of medium-term programmatic plans for South Asia.
- In support of the RPPA, monitoring and appropriately evaluating South Asia projects and programmes, to ensure positive outcomes and the effective deployment of resources.
- Contributing to ensuring that the information needs of teams across the organisation are met, so that powerful communications and campaigns can be delivered to media contacts and influencers, supporters and other key stakeholders.

**About You**

As Regional Programmes and Partnerships Support Officer, you will have:

- Demonstrable project/programme cycle management experience, ideally in animal welfare or international development.
- An understanding and experience of appropriate use of project monitoring and reporting tools.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor approach a wide range of audiences.
- A proven ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Competent IT skills, including MS Office.

**In return**

Based in Sidmouth, Devon - an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty - this is a full-time, fixed term contract starting on 2 October 2023 until 1 October 2025, working 35 hours per week, 08.30 - 16.30, Monday - Friday.

The working pattern for this role will combine onsite and home working under our guiding principles for such roles, with onsite attendance currently anticipated to be 1 day per month.
