Do you want to work with **high profile, automotive international clients**?

Are you looking for your next **full-time, office-based position** within transport?

We have an **exciting new opportunity**, for someone working in transport to grow and develop your skills with a **globally established company**.

You will be working **night shifts**, between the hours of **9PM to 7AM, Monday to Thursday, based in the Coventry office**.

You will be responsible for:

- Coordinating tasks on the shipments to meet all customer SOP requirements: booking approvals, processing pre-alerts, governmental filings, executing delivery, ensuring proper invoicing, etc.
- Dealing directly with cross country offices, overseas clients and carriers and the airlines global sales agents for pricing and shipment updates
- Creating and loading new orders onto the company systems
- Maintaining and updating the bespoke company systems
- Regularly advising all clients of the status of their current shipments
- Issuing collection & delivery instructions to the appropriate transport vendor
- Electronically filing all completed job paperwork
- Monitoring all road and air shipments

You will need:

- Previous transport experience, plus a good working knowledge of Freight Forwarding is essential.
- Excellent geographical knowledge and a good understanding of customs laws
- To be computer literate with experience using Microsoft Office systems
- Exceptional attention to detail and capability to work in a fast passed environment
- Excellent written & Verbal communications skills
- Good time management skills
- Excellent attendance record and possess a polite manner

You will receive:
