**Job Description**:
As a Sustainability Officer you will work alongside the Head of Sustainability in facilitating and co-ordinating all activity relating to Together’s Sustainability strategy from planning, development, communications to implementation, whilst ensuring all priorities are completed on time to a consistently high standard.

**Key accountabilities**:

- Assist in the co-ordination and the delivery of the Sustainability strategy and support action planning, supporting business areas to overcome challenges to meeting agreed targets and escalating where necessary
- Assist and oversee the implementation of any Sustainability related policies and procedures.
- Co-ordinate and produce materials for Sustainability related reporting
- Assist with the co-ordination of Sustainability training and education sessions for Together colleagues
- Assist in collating data from all key Stakeholders and functions in relation to the Sustainability Strategy on Sustainability topics
- Assist with the organisation of relevant Sustainability training for colleagues
- Responsible for drafting internal communications to colleagues to keep them up to date with progress against the Sustainability strategy and any new initiatives or events
- Responsible for delivering in person updates, such as the Group Town halls and Intro to the Business to colleagues
- Hosting events, attending external meetings and maintaining strong relationships with external stakeholders
- Responsible for news roundup of Sustainability trends, ensuring key stakeholders are kept educated and updated on all Sustainability matters
- Evidencing and highlighting the risks and opportunities for the Together
- Assist in maintaining and updating the Sustainability Strategy ensuring accountability from all key stakeholders
- Assist in the preparation of the yearly Sustainability Report
- Driving our strategy throughout the business
- Maintaining strong relationships with senior stakeholders of the Business
- Having input on company policy updates in relation to the Sustainability Strategy
- Maintaining external messaging of the Sustainability Strategy, including the company website
- Maintain the content of Together’s website in relation to Sustainability disclosures to ensure it is up to date and accurate at all times
- Assist in the preparation of Sustainability materials for external investor presentations
- Attending and presenting at Executive Level
- Assist in the preparation of materials for submission to the Board and sub Committees, as applicable, on performance against the Sustainability strategy and present when appropriate
- Champion Sustainability throughout Together, securing senior level commitment and support for integrating Sustainability into processes and decision making
- Managing the Sustainability Committee preparation, including pack creation and holding key stakeholders accountable for outstanding actions
- Assist the Head of Sustainability in ensuring the Sustainability Committee operates in an effective manner and provides necessary oversight to the Sustainability strategy

**Essential skills and experience**:

- Comfortable working autonomously whilst also having excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
- Strong project management skills
- Strong organisation and planning skills
- Passion and energy for Sustainability matters
- Sound knowledge of sustainability, CSR, and wider social, environmental and governance issues, including regulation/legislation
- Previous experience working in an ESG or Sustainability role
