**About the role**
- Can you support unpaid Carers by reviewing their needs?_

n-compass are looking to recruit a Carers Assessment & Support Officer as part of the Lancashire Carers team, covering Central Lancashire. The role is to provide carers with information and support to reduce the impact of their caring role including supporting carers to undertake carers assessments, Peace of Mind for Carers contingency plans and access other support services as required.

**About you**

We are looking for people who are passionate about supporting unpaid Carers to reduce the impacts of their caring role by providing professional and quality support. We are looking for people with the ability to; listen and communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals; sensitively discuss and gather information from people who want to access support; and the ability to provide individualised 1-1 support to adults. Most importantly, we are looking for people who are highly motivated, hardworking, flexible and who really want to make a difference.
