**About the Role**

**Base Location**: Reading, Cardiff or Perth

**Salary**: £35,142 - £40,246 + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

**Working Pattern**: 12 month Fixed Term Contract or Secondment | Full Time | Flexible First options available - this is a hybrid role working two days a week in the office.

**What is the Role?**

We’re looking for a highly effective communications advisor to join Business Energy’s Internal Communication and Engagement team. In this role, you will write, design and deliver a wide range of internal communications and engagement activities. You will produce clear and concise communications to ensure teams are well-informed in this key year of change for the business. You will also collaborate with colleagues across SSE to align communication and engagement strategies. In this role, you will:

- Work directly with senior leaders and managers to understand business requirements and determine the best communication channels.
- Plan and deliver in-person and virtual engagement activities.
- Collaborate with communication colleagues across SSE.

**What do I need?**

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- Excellent writing and editing skills, preferably alongside a relevant qualification.
- Experience producing communications content for variety of digital channels.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and balance multiple projects.
- Experience leading engagement activities and working with a wide range of internal stakeholders.
- Experience with image editing software, and web CMS is desired.
