In this key role, you will be supporting and helping to grow and retain diverse talent to fulfil our current and future business needs.

Passionate about helping others to develop and grow their careers and able to understand and empathise with the challenges that colleagues or early careers cohorts experience when starting out in a new role, the role holder will work with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to co-ordinate elements of talent projects and development programmes and take responsibility for ensuring the smooth set up and running of engagement activities, onboarding, development days and other events.

**Your role will involve**:

- Supporting colleagues on talent programmes from point of offer, leading on their onboarding and throughout the duration of their programme. You’ll be their first line of contact for any queries and will gather feedback from placement line managers and programme leaders to create talent packs, presentations, and feedback reports.
- Assisting the Emerging Talent Manager on placement and rotation management activities, working closely with the HR Business Partnering team to identify and keep track of rotational placement opportunities.
- End to end organisation of large-scale events for both internal and external stakeholders. This will include working alongside our partners at the Heathrow Academy to ensure engagement with local Universities, Colleges and Schools to organise arrangements and represent Heathrow at careers related events.
- Liaising closely with Learning and Resourcing teams to ensure selection events and development days are planned and organised.
- Supporting the wider Organisational Effectiveness senior leadership team with administration responsibilities, including organising team meetings and events, diary management, producing documentation, minute taking and onboarding new starters in the department.

**These skills are essential**:

- Previous experience working in Talent programmes, Learning & Development or broader Recruitment/Resourcing.
- Strong planning and organising skills, with experience of scheduling in a complex environment, multi-tasking and working efficiently to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrable event management experience.
- Excellent communication skills, confident dealing with stakeholders at all levels and experienced in building and maintaining relationships.
- Confidence in producing and analysing data to inform decision making, with strong skills across the MS Office suite, including Teams, Excel and PowerPoint.
