**ABOUT THE POSITION**
Searchlight Cyber is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Inside Sales Representative to join our expanding sales team. As an Inside Sales Representative focused on the Public Sector market you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by identifying and cultivating business opportunities within the target market.
You will be working closely with the broader sales team, marketing, and technical support to ensure a successful customer experience from lead generation to post-sales support. You’ll have the opportunity to be involved at every step of the sales process - from managing smaller deals from lead generation to close, as well as assisting the wider team with larger opportunities.
**WHAT WILL I DO?**
- Working in close alignment with the sales management team to target a set of Key business accounts assigned to you, by the business.
- Working closely with marketing to identify, develop and qualify new leads
- Sharing your passion for cyber security whilst making outbound calls and setting appointments
- Account mapping and identifying the key business decision makers, influencers and champions across the parent account and child accounts.
- Shepherd potential opportunities from start to finish, owning smaller opportunities outright whilst supporting our Government Sales Lead on larger opportunities.
- Providing regular metrics, reports and forecasts as required
- Following up on prospects and booking meetings after events
- Utilize CRM tools to manage and track sales activities, update customer information, and document progress in the sales pipeline.
- Collect market intelligence, sharing this with our marketing and product teams to ensure we retain our market leading position
**WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?**
- Proven track record in an inside sales or similar client facing role, delivering consistent quota attainment.
- Previous experience in a public sector focus sales role, ideally selling SaaS security products
- Clear communication skills, able to be compelling with a variety of individuals
- Resilience and tenacity, you will be able to bounce back and carry on
- Previous proven experience of cold calling outbound sales, showing us your enthusiasm and drive for a career in sales
- Excellent written & oral communications skills
- Knowledge of a particular sales methodology isn’t essential, but experience or training in SPIN/Sandler/Solution/Miller Heiman etc. would be a benefit. We’re looking for someone with a proven, repeatable process.
- CRM proficiency, particularly Hubspot, as well as tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo etc.
- Full language proficiency in English is mandatory. Full language proficiency in Spanish, German or another European language would be a plus.
