Summary We've got a fantastic opportunity for a Visitor Operations and Experience Manager to join us at Ham House in Richmond to cover an internal secondment.

Leading a brilliant team of staff and volunteers, you'll play a meaningful part in ensuring visitor experience and operational needs are built into our business plans and designs. You'll champion our values, particularly our 'Everyone Welcome' agenda, acrossthe property.

**This is a fixed term contract for 12 months.**

**The advertised salary is inclusive of the Outer-London Weighting allowance, currently £2,828 per annum.**

The stunning 17th century Ham House and Garden is a treasure trove on the banks of the River Thames. A variety of programmes and events both in and outdoors entertain and inspire over 100,000 visitors each year, and we take extraordinary pride in our internationallyrenowned collections and interiors and in our sensational garden.

What you'll be doing You’ll play a strategic role in the future of the portfolio. Leading your visitor experience & operations team you’ll ensure innovative programming and partnerships are in place to deliver and improve the visitor experience across the portfolio. You’ll beresponsible for long-term planning and the operational day-to-day delivery for the visitor welcome, experience and programme.

You’ll work with a wide variety of external partners in delivering your work and you’ll enable a wide range of visitors to have outstanding and inspirational experiences through the quality of our welcome and the engagement with our conservation work. Wealso want you to champion for making everyone welcome, demonstrating inclusive leadership, and actively working to diversify our staff, volunteer and visitor profiles. You’ll lead our fundraising at the property, and work to connect our visitors, volunteersand members to our cause, through fundraising events and programming and partnerships.
