**SALES LEDGER ADMINISTATOR - 9 month Maternity cover contract**

**ROLE PURPOSE**

You will be the first point of call for all cash allocation, especially for Key Accounts such as Amazon. This role requires attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. You will also assist the Credit Control department in New Account Opening as well as assist with some areas of credit control admin as required. You will report to the AR Manager and AR Team Leader in her absence.

**WHAT YOU’LL DO**:
Cash allocation - assist with Cash allocation on a daily basis:

- This will include the preparation of the bank statements, coding of said statements, obtain missing
- remittances and allocate payments on D365
- A large part of this work will relate to our Amazon account, which is a key account for the business

Customer Portals & EDI
- Update and maintain all Customer portals, by uploading of Invoices and downloading of remittances as required
- Update all part EDI portals with Invoice details to enable customers to Issue payments

Account Creation and data management

Assist in Credit Control for receipt and storage of all new account opening forms
- Ensuring new account forms have been completed fully, contacting business owner as required to complete any missing/incorrect fields on information
- Coordinate Credit Control Team Lead authorisation of new accounts set up
- VAT validation checks
- Create new account on D365 system
- Communicate to business stakeholders that account has been created and sales orders can be entered
- Update customer data on D365 system to accurate reflect subsequent changes required

Credit Control Team Support
- Assist with ongoing Credit Control activities as and when required, such as holiday cover

General Office Duties
- Answering incoming calls
- General ad hoc duties as advised by your manager

- A highly organised and proactive approach to work, supporting the team when required
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good IT skills including intermediate Excel
