We are looking for **Part-time** **Residential Childcare Worker's** to join us at Beaufort Care Group. We pride ourselves on offering a caring, supportive residential environment for the young people in our care. We have a number of years’ experience in high quality childcare supporting children from 8 to 16 years old, with our focus centred on the needs of the child.

The welfare of our young people is paramount in the role of a Residential Childcare Worker, not only do they keep our young people safe, but as the daily care provider they also make a fundamental contribution to their care, learning and development.

We are looking for caring & dedicated individuals to join our team of Children & Young Person Support Worker’s.

**What we provide to you**:

- Permanent position, 16 hours per week, plus overtime opportunities
- Basic Hourly Rate starting from **£11.55** per hour, increasing to **£12.12** per hour once passed probation and qualification completed.
- Average salary from **£9,587 per annum**, increasing to **£10,060 per annum** once passed probation and qualification completed.
- **5.6 weeks holiday** per year (pro rata for part-time)

**Requirements**:

- An ability to engage with young people positively and proactively.
- Experience of communicating with children and young people, or vulnerable young adults.
- Experience working in a residential care setting.
- Experience of working or volunteering with children & young people or vulnerable adults.
- Experience of working with children or young people experiencing emotional and behavioural difficulties.
- Good standard of IT skills, able to effectively maintain recording and reporting.
- Flexibility to cover a rolling shift pattern.
- To be committed to work towards achieving an NVQ 3 Health & Social Care/Children & Young People OR Diploma L3 Health & Social Care / Children & Young People.
