A committed, collaborative team that comprises four highly-skilled disciplines, the Alzheimer’s Society Creative and Brand Engagement team is the home of inspiring creative video, design and copy, strategic impact-focused comms, incredible stories and our strong brand identity.

Now we need an expert videographer to join our very talented video team. There’s never been a better time to come and work with us as we’re at an exciting and pivotal moment at the Society, developing and embedding our new visual identity and strategy to grow our reach. Join us and you’ll have the opportunity to create your best work ever and engage and inspire our diverse audiences.

Working for teams across the Society, we develop concepts and create videos across a wide spectrum of projects. Our content tells the stories of people with lived experience of dementia, and the difference we make as a Society.

You’ll also be working on dynamic short films and coverage of our fundraising events, as well as pitch videos which capture the attention of high value donors and corporate partners. In this role, you’ll be responsible for end-to-end production with an emphasis on post-production.

This role is mainly home-based, but you’ll need to be within striking distance of our main office near Tower Hill in London, where our video equipment is stored. As well as regular visits to our London office, you’ll also need to be able to travel to locations across England and Wales.

**About you**
- You’re a whizz at editing short films quickly and skilfully, using Adobe Premiere and AfterEffects.
- You’ve got extensive experience developing creative concepts, writing shoot scripts and planning documents.
- You’re experienced in filming to the highest standards under challenging conditions.
- You can light documentary film set ups and interviews and record sound.
- You’re passionate about using film to tell powerful stories about our cause and the people who are part of it.
- You feel confident interviewing high profile and sensitive contributors when required, drawing out stories with intelligence and sensitivity, and managing those relationships with empathy and professionalism.
- You’re comfortable with subtitling and creating transcripts of films, to help us fulfil our commitment to accessibility.
- You’ll be taking responsibility and ownership for the organisation, maintenance, and optimisation of an efficient video archive for the Society, from external productions as well as in-house.
- You’re determined to champion the diverse needs of people living with dementia, working in a way that facilitates inclusion and collaboration.
- You’re exceptionally organised and motivated as well as highly creative, able to plan and organise your own workflow, producing work to the highest standards of excellence while delivering on time.
- You’ll be a brand ambassador and guardian, ensuring that all video and audio activity reinforces our brand.
