As an integral member of our team, you'll be responsible for proactively maintaining our HR information system, People First. Your primary goal will be to ensure that all Thompsons employees have access to a reliable and comprehensive system that promotes self-service and empowers both employees and managers. Here's what you'll be doing:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Maintain our HRIS 'People First' to ensure accuracy, compliance, and integrity
- Develop and maintain standard operating processes for 'People First'
- Create comprehensive HRIS FAQs and serve as the first point of contact for HRIS queries
- Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including our system supplier, MHR
- Ensure all users are trained to utilise the HRIS effectively and maintain accuracy
- Adhere to agreed SLAs with a focus on managing queries through to resolution
- Manage and maintain firm-wide monthly people metric dashboards
- Produce weekly/monthly MI data/metrics/reports as required
- Contribute to identifying innovative improvements for the HR system and metrics
- Support annual people processes including employee engagement surveys, performance reviews, incremental salary reviews, and practising certificate renewal

**Skills, Knowledge and Expertise**:

- HR information systems experience
- Ability to work under own initiative and as a member of a team
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Proactive and flexible approach
- Experience with integrated HR and Payroll systems
- Experience providing administrative support to an HR function
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Previous experience using Power BI or similar reporting tools (Desirable)
- Understanding of payroll processes
