**What is the role of a Purchasing Co-ordinator?**
Working as a purchasing co-ordinator within a stores environment, the role is varied liaising directly with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth delivery of service across the port.
- Negotiating with suppliers to ensure quality of product and delivery of service
- Updating SAP systems to ensure correct inventory
- Processing invoices
- Ensuring compliance and documentation are correct at all times
- Supporting warehouse administration as required
- Monday - Friday between the hours of 10am - 3pm (20hours per week)
**What experience is required for a Purchasing Co-ordinator?**
Previous experience working within a Ports environment is desirable however other backgrounds will be considered.
- Previous experience within a purchasing role is highly advantageous however similar roles maybe considered e.g. plant hire, inventory controller, sales administrator
- Full UK Driving Licence is essential
- Strong communication skills is essential
- Experience using SAP systems is highly desirable
- Enjoy working within a fast paced environment
- Good IT skills
- Highly organised with the ability to manage end to end on processes is essential
- Strong administration skills
**Job Types**: Part-time, Temp to perm
**Salary**: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
