**About the Role**
As a Learner Engagement Officer, you will be responsible for the active promotion and increase in learner referrals and enrolments for Multiply programmes in Stoke and Staffordshire. You will be responsible for establishing strong partnerships with external stakeholders, ensuring compliance, and providing management information on referral generation.
The role involves building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders and networks, actively promoting programmes through sessions, and engaging with potential learners, employers, and community groups. You will manage learner referral details, collaborate with tutors, and promptly respond to enquiries. Representing Acorn Training at education and careers events, schools, and employability events, you will actively promote our Multiply services.
You will be an integral part of our team, driving learner referrals and making a significant impact on the success of Multiply programmes in Stoke and Staffordshire.
**About You**
To succeed in this role, you should possess a Level 2 IAG or equivalent qualification and have obtained GCSE grades A*-C (or equivalent) in English, Maths, and ICT. Additionally, a full driving license is a requirement. You will have a proven track record of successfully engaging with learners and stakeholders while consistently meeting and exceeding targets. Prior experience in delivering exceptional customer service is essential.
It is crucial that you can demonstrate a strong awareness, understanding, and commitment to protecting and safeguarding young people and vulnerable adults. Knowledge of safe and healthy working practices is required, along with a firm understanding of and dedication to Equal Opportunities and Diversity. Excellent interpersonal skills are vital for establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with learners. Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Office packages, is expected. You must also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as active listening abilities.
To connect effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds, you should be approachable, empathetic, and able to relate to others. You should be flexible and adaptable, embracing new ideas and adjusting engagement strategies to suit the specific needs of learners.
