**Are you experienced in handling and responding to complaints. We have an immediate opportunity for a Complaints Officer to support one of our NHS Clients. This will be a temporary contract, working 37.5 hours per week. The training would take place on side at the office in M1 postcode and then working remotely. Paying £11.76 per hour**

**What will you be doing as a Complaints Officer?**
- Investigating complaints across a variety of people including patients, carers, advocates, healthcare professionals, solicitors and other chief officers & MP's
- You will be managing a caseload of enquiries, supporting a variety of organisations to include, local authorities, NHS litigation Authorities, and other regulatory bodies such as the Parliamentary and Health service ombudsman
- You will be receiving and interpreting communications of a highly sensitive and complex manner
- You will updating in house computer systems, ensuring that information is recorded correctly
- You will have experience in being able to raise a comment, compliment concern or complaint
- You will be acting on behalf of the patient to get the issue resolved as quickly as possible
- Promote conciliation as part of local resolution, providing support and advise
- Arranging conciliation meetings and hearings
- Preparing case papers as required, including clinical records
- Dealing with requests for information about the complaints process

We would LOVE to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:

- Experienced in managing your daily workload and will be required to work to deadlines etc
- Possess strong IT skills may have experienced in using DATIX
- You will be an excellent communicator both written and verbally
- If you have any experience in dealing with complaints, PALS, Patient Services, MP's and other areas of the NHS
- Experience in working with and managing a busy caseload of complaints
- You may have experience in working in other areas such as local authority
- You may have experienced in working across the litigation areas in supporting the ombudsman and NHSLA areas
