My client based in Wallasey is looking to recruit an Administrator to assist with the administration tasks within the purchasing department. The role is offered on a permanent basis and is offering a salary of £21,000. Due to continued growth and expansionthey are looking to hire a Purchasing Administration Assistant, to help assist the Purchasing Manager in the day to day tasks. The role is based within the construction Industry, experience in this field is not necessary, all training will be given.
The main duties and responsibilities of the role include
- Create purchase orders
- Updating the internal tracker for each site once orders have been placed
- Chase suppliers for delivery dates
- Update material board with delivery dates
- Carrying out delivery checks to ensure that the correct items are delivered to site and on time
