RMS Recruitment are currently recruiting for Administrative Support for our client based in Spennymoor.

This role is a temporary contract due to run until **August 2023. **The salary is £9.79 per hour and will be full time hours.

**Duties and Responsibilities will include**:

- To provide administrative support to a dedicated adult protection and DOLS operational service, including implementation and maintenance of administration and communication systems and the use of various IT packages
- Arrange and prepare for adult protection strategy meetings, strategy reviews and other related meetings
- Attend, support and produce a record of proceedings in accordance with timescales and adult protection procedures
- To provide administrative support for delivery of DOLS processes to ensure they run smoothly
- Oversee the maintenance of a budget file and invoice and payments system in relation to the DOLS
- To organise and distribute reports and information as appropriate to stakeholders/ partner agencies/ participants within the adult protection and DOLS processes
- To input information, carry out analysis, produce reports, provide statistical information and maintain and develop relevant databases as appropriate
- To set up and maintain registers for Executive Strategies and Safeguarding Adult Reviews.
- To contribute to the development and maintenance of a work schedule/ caseload management system to meet targets and provide an efficient service to service users and key stakeholders
- Maintaining adult protection, DOLS and related information systems to a high standard that conforms to service standards and procedures. This will involve inputting information directly onto the bespoke Adult Care Database, Azeus as well as team logs created within Microsoft Excel.
- To work throughout the County and be prepared to work outside of normal office hours as appropriate
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Any other duties which may reasonably fall within the level of responsibility and the competence of the post
- BTEC National in Public Admin or NVQ 3 Business Administration or relevant equivalent.
- Relevant experience in an administrative setting and use of IT Systems
- Use of Microsoft Software, including Microsoft Excel.
- Enhanced DBS (to include both children & adults) issued within the last 12 months.
- Full COVID Vaccination Evidence (Req Evidence NHS App, NHS Website, NHS COVID Pass Letter) unless medically exempt.
- Knowledge of the functions of Adults, Wellbeing and Health and Knowledge of Safeguarding Adults processes are desirable but not essential.
