**About us**
Established in 2013 by a group of Wildlife Trusts, Wildlife Fundraising (Central) Ltd. works with its partners to recruit new members and raise much needed funds. Our support helps Trusts to protect local wildlife by looking after nature reserves, creating living landscapes, providing wildlife advice, campaigning for wildlife and generally educating people about wildlife. Together, we’re seeking to deliver on their mission to secure a better future for local wildlife so that we can all enjoy a happier, wilder future. But we need your help.
**About the role and you**
Working six-hour days at various venues and events, three or four days a week, your challenge will be to encourage people to join their local Wildlife Trust and support the vital work they do, via a monthly direct debit. Openings currently exist in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Middlesex, Leicestershire, Rutland, Lincolnshire and Warwickshire.
An excellent opportunity to bring your experience to a role where you can contribute directly to a cause that you’re passionate about, you’ll need to be outgoing and friendly, with an excellent level of spoken and written English and the communication skills to interact with people from all walks of life. Comfortable working to targets/KPIs, a sales or face-to-face fundraising background would be useful too, but is not essential ,as full training will be given. You must, however, hold a valid driving licence and have access to a car/van to transport a gazebo, display equipment and promotional materials to the sites where you’ll be working.
**The rewards**
As well as an competitive salary and uncapped commission, we offer a quarterly bonus scheme, 30 days holiday entitlement (incl. bank holidays, pro-rata) and a pension scheme. You’ll also receive a full charity-branded uniform, kit and ID badge and a contribution towards travel costs. Chartered Institute of Fundraising approved training is also provided, along with a supportive team, both in the field and the office, plus there are genuine career development opportunities.
