**What we're looking for in our MIS & Compliance Lead:
- Experienced in leading an MIS department in an educational organisation
- Relevant and up-to-date knowledge of funding policy and guidance, and the audit requirements for all funding streams including ESFA, AEB, Apprenticeship Levy
- Complete understanding and requirement setting on ILR specifications
- Full understanding of the learner journey including systems and data that support curriculum planning and reporting
- Experience working with Smart Assessor/ BKSB/ PICS (Advanced products) or equivalent systems
- An understanding of identifying and securing commercial opportunities to enhance curriculum content that meets local and regional needs

**What you can expect to be doing as our MIS & Compliance Lead:
- Working with the Academy Team in achieving its vision and mission and developing and implementing Peabody’s Strategic Plan
- Leading and developing the Exams, Data & Funding, Compliance Training and Reporting team members in a professional manner, focusing on developing a customer service culture whilst ensuring compliance with external funding rules and systems
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring a reporting strategy to ensure that the Academy’s information needs, to both internal and external stakeholders, are met
- Leading on the funding and financial aspects of curriculum planning
- Maintaining an up-to-date, expert-level knowledge of current funding policy and procedures and to anticipate and respond to changes in the external funding environment
- Preparing regular update reports in a professional format for the organisation explaining changes to funding and reporting requirements
- Ensuring necessary system maintenance and upgrades are planned, communicated, and conducted with minimal impact upon business-as-usual operations. Identify, ahead of time from the supplier’s release notes, any notable changes to the use or behaviour of the system which may require staff to be trained or notified of the changes
- Attending and representing the Academy at sector specific groups such as networking forums, local and regional focus groups to maintain sector knowledge and professional awareness of developments surrounding learner information management
