The Governors of the Mosaic Federation are looking to appoint a full time Higher Level Teaching Assistant to be based in Mosaic THRIVE, a specialist Early years SEND Unit based within Hedworthfield Primary School.

Mosaic THRIVE is a new specialist unit which provides effective early years provision and input for children with an EHCP who have complex needs including autism. The governing board are looking to appoint dedicated and knowledgeable practitioners who are passionate and committed to providing the best possible care and support for our children.

We are looking for a practitioner who:

- Has experience of working with children who have additional needs including communication difficulties;
- Is an inspirational practitioner who is able to bring learning to life for our children;
- Has in-depth knowledge and understanding of education and child development
- particularly in the early years;
- Treats all children as individuals and work with the team to ensure each individual reaches their full potential;
- Supports all aspects of child development;
- Has high expectations of achievement and standard for all children;
- Has up to date knowledge of planning and assessment within the new curriculum;
- Demonstrates excellent assertive discipline;
- Is an effective communicator with all stakeholders;
- Is enthusiastic, motivated and committed.
