Senior Communications Officer

Rapid Recruit are recruiting for a Senior Communications Officer for our client to work on their sites based in Nelson, Brierfield and Accrington.
The main duties include:
- Designing and delivering our clients PR strategy to promote key initiatives and enhancing image and reputation across all learning types
- Serving as the main point of contact for all communications-related inquiries
- Acting as a marketing link person for cross-college colleagues, providing effective communication solutions for business needs
- Developing and implementing communication strategies aligned with our clients goals and objectives
- Monitoring social media platforms for relevant discussions and engaging with audience
- Conducting research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities and public opinions
- Ensuring that all communication activities comply with legal and ethical standards.
Training, Experience & Qualifications required:
- Relevant degree level qualification
- Professional qualification or equivalent experience in Public Relations or Marketing (CIPR or CIM)
- Previous experience in press release writing, long-form content writing and managing strategic development of internal and external communications.
An enhanced DBS check is desirable however not essential.
This is a full-time position working 37 hours a week at a rate of pay of £17.00 per hour.
