We are seeking to appoint an Accounts Assistant to work in our Head Office, Margam, to join our small finance team where the workload is growing considerably. Your main focus is to ensure all financial information is entered on the system promptly and accurately to enable timely reporting. The role requires a high level of attention to detail and a proactive approach to solving queries. You will support the existing accounts team with business accounting activities.

You will assist with basic administration tasks and should be on hand to answer any queries raised by staff,external clients or providers. You will be expected to help document and maintain the business' finance procedures.

**Responsibilities**
- Monitoring daily communications and answering any queries.
- Raising and processing sales invoices.
- Processing ledger invoices and filing.
- Ensuring payments, of suppliers are correct.
- Setting up and working with excel spreadsheets.
- Undertaking purchase ledger reconciliations.
- Helping to process and pay Wages and Subcontractors.
- Bank reconciliation.
- Liaisng with third party providers, clients and suppliers.
- Updating and maintaining procedural documentation.
- Passing purchase ledger invoices for payment.
- General filing

The above list is not exhaustive, and the post holder may be required to take on other duties and responsibilities for the effective and efficent perfromance of this role.
