We are looking for two Computational Biology Analysts/Research Fellows to join the Roslin Institute and to contribute to the successful execution of projects across the full range of the Institute’s research portfolio. The post will be based in the Division of Genome Biology as part of Dr Andy Law’s group but will interact with scientists across the entire Institute.

**The Opportunity**:
The Roslin Institute has a wide-ranging research remit, including developmental biology, animal and plant breeding, genetics, genomics and the pathology of and resistance to infectious diseases both within the UK and world-wide. There are extensive collaborations with scientists working on problems of direct relevance to Low
- and Middle-Income Countries. As part of the University of Edinburgh’s Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies, there is also a strong clinically-focussed strand of research.

This is an opportunity for an experienced bioinformatician to contribute to a large number of important research projects within the School and wider afield.

**Your skills and attributes for success**:

- Expertise in multiple methods of sequence analysis and/or other bioinformatics methodologies. Single cell/single nucleus sequence analysis experience is desirable
- Experience of workflow managers e.g. nextflow or snakemake
- Self-organising and capable of switching seamlessly between multiple projects
- Personable nature, able to interact with colleagues regardless of their roles or level of experience
