**DK Acquisitions Editor - DK Life**:
Would you like to build a list of author-led illustrated lifestyle books?
Do you enjoy spotting new authors, trends, and ideas ahead of the pack?
Have you already begun to commission and establish good relationships with authors and agents?

DK, a world leader in illustrated non-fiction co-edition publishing, is expanding its adult lifestyle list. We are looking for two Acquisition Editors to join our team and develop our lifestyle publishing across food and drink, crafts, health, wellbeing and self development. You will be a self-starter with experience of commissioning and managing your own titles and contributing to a commercially successful list. If you thrive on spotting new trends, talent and ideas, enjoy working with authors and agents, have a good visual sense and a strong eye for detail and perform well under pressure we’d love to hear from you.

If you believe this role is for you, please submit your CV and cover letter detailing examples of 2-3 titles that you have recently commissioned and provide a brief description (200 words) of a potential acquisition you could see working for the Life list.

We have a range of benefits to reflect our commitment to our people, some of which are:

- 25 days paid holiday entitlement in year one, plus bank holidays
- Generous pension scheme
- Volunteering policy and charity matching
- Employee assistance programme
- Cycle to work scheme and discounted gym membership
- Summer hours
