We are on the lookout for a Tenancy Support Officer to join our well-established client in Banbury on a temporary basis for 3 months. The hourly rate is £15.15 per hour. This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday with no weekends.

Our client is the elected body responsible for the most strategic local government services in the district. These services include but are not limited to housing, planning and building, council tax, rubbish and recycling and housing benefits.

**About the role**:
As a Tenancy Support Officer, you will be responsible for:

- To provide housing advice, guidance and housing related support services for vulnerable individuals resident in the district to enable them to sustain tenancies.
- To provide intervention that prevents or relieves homelessness and enable customers to live independently and feel safe and secure within their homes.
- Work with customers in areas which include but are not limited to:

- Employment, training and education
- Debt and money management
- Daily living skills
- Promotion of good physical and mental health
- Working with the Housing Options and Allocations Team and internal and external partners to identify tenants/residents in the social and private housing sectors who require advice, guidance and support in order to sustain their tenancies
- Carry out necessary administrative duties which include but are not limited to:

- Referrals to relevant services
- Client risk assessments
- Client support plans
- Maintaining appropriate client records and case notes
- Contribute to production of associated policies and procedures.
- Contribute to production of publications.
- Produce reports to share workload, trends, cost effectiveness and outcomes and inform other initiatives.
