**Maternity Cover Senior Content Writer - Part Time or Full Time**

**Role Overview**:
As the Maternity Senior Content Writer, you will be responsible for overseeing the written content strategy, development and execution. You will manage a team of talented content creators and collaborate closely with other departments, including SEO, web design and social media.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute comprehensive content strategies for our various clients that align with their goals and objectives
- Manage, with the support of the Content Director, a team of content creators, providing guidance, feedback and support
- Conduct market research and analyse data to identify content opportunities and trends
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to drive innovation and enhance content effectiveness
- Managing freelancers

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, English, journalism, or a related field preferred; however, someone with previous experience in the field would be considered
- Proven experience in content management, preferably in a leadership role
- Strong understanding of content marketing strategies and techniques
- Excellent writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail
- Experience with SEO best practices and content optimisation
- Understanding of content management systems, analytics tools and social media platforms
- Strong project management and organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and audience engagement

**Nice to have**
- An understanding of AI technology and familiarity with AI-powered writing tools and platforms
