We now find ourselves with an exciting opportunity for a HR Advisor. Working as part of a dedicated HR team, you will provide generalist HR support in a fast-growing business. Providing comprehensive, professional, and operationally focused support, advice and guidance to Managers and Employees.
**The Role**:
- Support the Head of People and People Partner in the provision of professional advice, mentorship and coaching to managers regarding people management issues including disciplinary, appeal and grievance handling, performance management, absence management, talent management, development, reward and terms and conditions of employment in compliance with company procedure and employment legislation.
- Advise line managers and process contractual changes (leavers, transfers, promotions, organisational changes) by preparing contractual documentation, entering data into HR systems and files and all associated administrative tasks and auditing for accuracy and compliance.
- Effectively manage own case work, liaising with Operations and providing hands-on guidance for staff.
- Ensure integrity of HR systems, ensuring data input is accurate and compliant
- Generate HR reports and conduct initial data analysis through intermediate and advanced level excel functions.
- To provide support to employees with regard to Employment, Welfare and Health and Safety issues.
- Help further develop wellbeing and employee engagement strategies, embedding and further creating positive change through focus groups / staff feedback
- To keep up to date with all Employment Law legislation changes.
- To be involved in, or provide lead, on adhoc projects as required.
- Support in the creation of, updating and implementing Company human resource policies, programs and practices.
- To undertake administration duties including writing follow-up letters from meetings with employees ensuring personnel files are up to date.
- To liaise with payroll regarding employee information and complete necessary paperwork.
- Work proactively with People Advisors and People Partners within the different sites on complex employee’s cases and improvement projects
- Working within the HR function to become an active contributor in working towards our goal of remaining a 3* Sunday Times Best Companies organisation.

**Skills and experience we would like to see**:
- Highly organised with capability to work optimally to deadlines
- Demonstrable experience of working in a HR Advisory role in a fast-paced, challenging, and constantly changing environment.
- Fundamental knowledge of UK employment laws
- Key experience of working with and advising line managers
- First class IT and communication skills
- A high level of accuracy, attention to detail and an ability to follow through on commitment
- Team orientated
- Results focused
- Degree level education in Human Resources preferable
- Membership (CIPD) preferable
