Responsibilities to become a successful SEN Teaching Assistant will be:
...- Working with small groups and 1:1
- Assisting pupils with academic tasks
- Encouraging independence
- Safeguarding all children
- Adhering to the curriculum, including up-to-date changes in the structure
- Ability to communicate with and encourage children with additional needs
- Positive outlook and attitude.
- Being flexible, caring and nurturing
- Knowledge of various teaching methods
- Good organisational and verbal communication skills

- Reading, writing, numeracy and communication skills
- Team Teach trained - or willing to attend training
