We are seeking dedicated and versatile SEN LSAs to join our supportive team at SEN schools. This rewarding opportunity is ideal for compassionate individuals who are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of children with special educational needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to students with special educational needs, both in and out of the classroom.
  • Assist teachers in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs).
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that meets the diverse needs of students.
  • Encourage student participation and engagement through differentiated instruction and activities.
  • Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Support the development of students' social and communication skills.

Requirements:

  • Experience working as an SEN LSA or in a similar role within an educational setting.
  • Understanding of various special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Patience, empathy, and a commitment to supporting the individual needs of each student.
  • Willingness to undertake relevant training and professional development.

As an SEN LSA, you will play a crucial role in helping students achieve their full potential. Your dedication and adaptability will contribute to creating a supportive and stimulating learning environment where every student can thrive.
