Job Title: Special Needs Teaching Assistant

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Primary school in Ware. As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with complex needs to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one sessions with special needs children to support their learning and development.
  • Assist with classroom management and create a positive and safe classroom atmosphere.
  • Encourage student participation and engagement in classroom activities.
  • Help maintain a clean and organised learning environment.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with young children, especially in an educational setting, is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
  • Willingness to collaborate with teachers and support staff.
  • A commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
