**Salary negotiable between £35,000 - £40,000 per annum**
**Full Time (Monday-Friday 9am-5pm)**
**26 days holidays (plus bank holidays)**
The Benx Group of companies - a leading manufacturer and supplier of specialist building materials, supplying innovative products, systems, and services to the building facades sector - is seeking to appoint an NVQ Trainer & Assessor to join our Benx Technical Services department based in Staffordshire.
Working to the defined values of the Benx Group - Integrity, Collaboration, Excellence. As a member of the Benx Technical Services team, this role is primarily to deliver the key responsibilities as discussed within this job specification. In addition, playing a full and active role with the Benx innovation process and to establish and maintain key customer relationships with both internal and external customers.
The main purpose of this role is to provide full theory/practical technical training for technical and non-technical members of the business, as well as external contractors. This will include demonstrating system installation techniques of the complete range of systems within the Benx offer. In addition to the delivery of this training, this individual will be responsible for developing appropriate training programmes for varying skill levels and needs in line with industry standards; liaising with internal departments such as Technical & HR to do so.
**Key responsibilities include**:
- Providing training and development programmes across the business to both internal and external stakeholders in compliance with awarding organisation policies and procedures in line with industry standards
- Installer competency standards
- Carrying out Assessment of Competence
- Work towards recognised training standards (NVQ, IBT NOS)
- Planning, delivering, and assessing a wide range of programmes with differentiation for the varying abilities of our learners
- Contribute to marketing, recruitment, and business development
- Liaise with awarding bodies and be prepared to attend relevant training to ensure all knowledge is current
- Liaise with internal Technical & HR team to develop skills assessments and learning programs, practical and classroom at various levels of the business.

**Experience/knowledge required**:
- External Wall Insulation Systems (EWI & ETICS)
- Rainscreen systems
- General building technologies and best practice
- Good mentoring/teaching skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Product knowledge
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work to meet service needs
- Strong communication skills
- Strong passion for practical and technical standards through training and motivation
