**Hours**:Earlies: 6am - 2pm, Days: 10am - 6pm, Lates: 2pm - 10pm, Nights: 9am - 7pm

The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS trust plays a huge part in west Essex and east and north Hertfordshire's way of life.

The trust runs a busy hospital, The Princess Alexandra Hospital and provides services at St. Margaret's Hospital and Herts and Essex Hospital. Together serve a population of around 350,000 people.

**What you’ll be responsible for**:

- Dealing with and responding to staff, patient, relative, visitor and other NHS organisation queries or concerns.
- Managing cardiac/trauma calls & paging emergency team call alerts, panic / boiler / medical alarms.
- Provide and manage collection of site keys, distribution and change of pagers / change of pager batteries.
- Booking couriers and taxis.

The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above

- An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
- Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
- A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

**You’ll have the following skills/experience**:

- Must be resilient, caring, and thick skinned.
- Excellent telephone manner and ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation
- Customer service skills
- Basic IT knowledge including Microsoft Office
- Ability to work under pressure
