We’re committed to creating an environment where we can continuously learn and grow as HR professionals and have an exciting opportunity to join our HR team in Manchester in an HR Projects Manager role.
Rubix UK is Europe’s leading distributor of industrial maintenance, repair and overhaul products and services, including bearings, mechanical power transmission, pneumatics, hydraulics, tools and PPE.
The purpose of the HR Projects Manager is to take full ownership for the end-to-end delivery of all initiatives and projects as set out in the HR Strategy and Operational plan. The role will also have full responsibility for leading on all activity relatingto communication and engagement, learning and development and talent. Please note this is a fixed term contract for 12 months.
This role is 100% project focused and will have no responsibility for day-to-day operational activity. The role holder will be responsible for scoping, designing and project managing the end-to-end delivery of a range of people initiatives, working collaborativelywith the wider HR team and stakeholders across the business where required to ensure that all people projects and initiatives are launched and are fully embedded post launch.

**KeyResponsibiliti es**:

- Demonstrate ownership & accountability for leading on the development of and delivery of all people initiatives, in partnership with the wider HR team and other colleagues across the business where appropriate
- Engage and work collaboratively with relevant stakeholders across the business to ensure project is fully scoped, objectives and end-goals understood with clear, time bound deliverables agreed, developing a detailed end to end project plan focussing on launchingand continuously embedding said activity in the business
- For each project, ensure the creation of an accurate stakeholder map and stakeholder engagement plans, taking ownership for engaging and communicating with all relevant stakeholders across the business, both during project delivery if appropriate (e.g. throughworking sessions to get input from colleagues across the business) and ahead of launch
- Establish working groups where appropriate to support delivery of the plan, ensuring all roles and responsibilities are clearly defined and agreed upfront and governance in place to track, review and drive progress of delivery
- Take personal responsibility for driving delivery against the plan, influencing others where required and holding others to account for delivery of assigned activity
- Ensure effective reporting on project delivery status to HR Director in a coordinated and effective manner
- Seek to understand the development and career goals of the wider HR team and engage them in projects as appropriate to support the wider upskilling and development of the team
- Plan an effective approach to handover of projects into BAU operational delivery once they have been launched into the business through the wider HR team
**Skills and Experience**:

- Experience of leading & project managing HR projects, with the ability to prioritise among competing priorities
- Ability to build relationships and influence at senior leadership level and all levels across the organisation
- Strong attention to detail, highly organised and able to creatively present proposals and papers for review by CEO and SLT
- Strong team player and collaborative approach
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across the business
- Creative thinker who can translate vision into reality, with the ability to drive and implement robust project plans to meet the objective and deliver to time
