**About the Trust**
Kent & Medway NHS & Social Care Partnership Trust is a Mental Health Trust and, given the nature this post, may include exposure to distressing information and circumstances.
**What you’ll be responsible for**:
- Making room bookings for appointments and meetings and issuing/signing out keys or mobile phones as appropriate
- Making calls as necessary e.g., to re-arrange appointments and apologising for changes initiated by KMPT where these are necessary e.g., due to unforeseen circumstances
- Daily opening of post, date stamping and despatch
- Data entry e.g., inputting of information such as new referrals and updating of progress notes, results of tests or questionnaires or onto personal budget sheets
The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above
**You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust**:
- An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
- Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
- A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation
**You’ll have the following skills/experience**:
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Packages e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Previous receptionist experience.
