Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift pattern: Day Time Only

**MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE**:
Support finished vehicle distribution from UK to European Markets, provide operational control of all facets of vehicle distribution and become the point of contact for all operational areas involved in JLR

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Provide point of contact for all operational areas involved in JLR (UK & Europe).
- Management and vehicle movement processes and daily monitoring of key suppliers, involving vehicles at European port of entry.
- Daily dealing with UK shipping lines and European markets.
- Work closely with the Carrier Manager and client to ensure that all strategic and tactical plans are implemented effectively.

**PERSON SPECIFICATION**:

- Good analytical, reporting and communication skills - essential.
- Strong and effective organising, planning and process work methods managing multiple projects.
- International vehicle logistics experience - desirable.
- Planning experience in LLP operations in Supply Chain division and multi modal transport operations (Road, Air & Sea) -Desirable. Ability to maintain strong working relationships with the customer and carriers to ensure all targets are met.
