**About the role**
Humankind support St. Giles Wise to provide wellbeing support to County Durham and Darlington women leaving prison and those engaged with the National Probation Service as part of the Ministry of Justice Dynamic Framework. Our wellbeing coach offers advocacy, advice and guidance for issues including mental health, substance misuse, family and relationships. The service partnership works collaboratively with local communities, statutory services and other services to provide additional support and signposting for women engaged with the criminal justice system.-
**A full driving licence and daily use of a car is an essential requirement.**

**For this role you should have**:

- Experience of engaging successfully with challenging people, for example people who have complex needs and people who are reluctant to discuss their needs
- Knowledge and understanding of the requirements of managing a caseload including maintaining and updating records, remaining focused on action plan goals, and keeping to deadlines
- Knowledge of and commitment to safeguarding practices and policies, and ability to promote safeguarding among vulnerable clients and colleagues.
- Ability to work resiliently under pressure, meet deadlines, work on own initiative and part of a team.
