We're hiring passionate and energetic individuals for a Junior Sommelier position (10-20 hours pw) at our fabulous Wine Bar in Elephant and Castle, selling very unique wines (from Texas, Japan, China to wines closer to home) and with a strong service, knowledge and guest focus. A social, outgoing, and people geared individual is a must Big growth and learning prospects within a new and growing brand.

Junior Sommeliers - Would require a sound base knowledge of global wines, versatile and confident with describing and serving wines, and a proud representative of a new against the grain brand. (WSET Level 2/3 is a bonus)

Experience in fine dining from a waiter or junior sommelier background would be helpful, however personalities come before wine experience. Our training structures are strong, and we would welcome an experienced sommelier looking for a new challenge keen to delve into a new field of wine, or a very junior member who is enthusiastic to learn and develop within the team.

Job Requirements:

- Running a floor section
- Serving / decanting wine and drinks
- Coffee making for drink in and takeaway
- Prepping small cold plates for eat in diners
- Taking PDQ Payments
- Preparing Mis en Place for daily setup and breakdown at the end of night, including hoovering, mopping and full close down of the bar.
- Greeting guests and making orders at the table
- Receiving deliveries and stock taking
- Assisting with in-store events and tastings
- Strong English - spoken & written
- Open to working in pop-up wine events across London.

Flexible Working Options Available:

- Part-time

Pay: £11.42-£16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
