We have an exciting new opportunity for a **Performance & Assurance Officer** to join our team based in** Bristol**. You will join us on a **full time, permanent or fixed term basis, working 37 hours per week**. In return, you will receive a salary of** £34,800 per annum.**

**About our Performance & Assurance Officer** **role**:
The role will involve delivering data to produce measurable results for managers, Board & Committees by coordinating key performance indicators which ensures we have a performance driven approach. Co-ordinating and maintaining our key registers and assurance programmes such Risk Registers, Asset & Liabilities Register and Internal Audit Programme. Maintaining our policy framework and assisting with data protection requirements.

**Key Responsibilities as our Performance & Assurance Officer**:

- To support our performance framework to ensure performance indicators are in place, monitored, correct and create reports to assist with assurance to key stakeholders internally and externally.
- Update and maintain corporate registers and frameworks, such as the Risk Register, Policy Framework and Assets and Liabilities Register to ensure risks and assurance are recorded appropriately and tracked.
- Ensure the organisational policies, procedures and templates have a framework for review, report on changes and maintain an up to date index for accessibility.
- Support the effective planning and delivery of the Internal Audit programme.
- Assist with data protection requirements and information requests.

- Experience in working in a regulated environment.
- Knowledge and experience of working in a customer focused environment.
- Experience of processing and analysing data in written and numerical format.
- Experience of presenting information in a variety of formats to a wide variety of groups.
- High level of written presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to monitor and track information
- Ability to use Microsoft Office packages including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Teams.
- Can do attitude.
- Keen eye for detail.
- Resilient when handling conflict.
