**The Opportunity**:
We are thrilled to be recruiting for a Quality Assurance Officer to join our Know Your Customer (KYC) and Financial Crime (FC) team at our Bristol Head Office. This is a full-time permanent role and offers the benefits of a flexible hybrid working. Typically, this would require 1 day in our Bristol office per week with a choice of working from home on the other days (following an initial induction period).

The KYC & FC Quality Assurance Officer is a first line of defence role, and the overall purpose of this role is to provide specialised knowledge and support both Triodos Bank UK (TBUK) and the wider business, as well as support the Financial Crime Risk management Team and the KYC & FC Team Lead in ensuring that TBUK’s controls remain fit for purpose; prevent economic crime, and protect our customer in an evolving landscape.

You will be instrumental in supporting ongoing improvements to the first line of defence quality assurance frameworks within TBUK and Group KYC & FC. This framework will ensure the processes and procedures within the business are robust and compliant with all relevant TBUK and Group FC polices and handbooks.

Reporting into Financial Crime Risk Management team within TBUK’s Operations and a functional reporting line into the Group KYC & FC department, you will have specialised knowledge of financial crime and will act as an escalation point for complex queries. Finally, you will take the lead on owning complex issues and resolving in a timely and satisfactory manner for multiple stakeholders with different interests.

**What we are looking for**:
To be successful in this role you will have extensive Subject Matter expertise in Financial Crime (Anti-Money Laundering, Fraud, Counter Terrorist Financing, Sanctions and Anti-Bribery and Corruption), as well as have an ICA qualification or equivalent; relating to financial crime or willingness to complete within first twelve months within role.

You will have experience in providing training, coaching, and feedback with a track record for improving quality standards within an operational environment.

Proficient in gathering and utilising management information data, you will possess a strong customer focus, a passion for fighting crime, and a track record of improving processes.

**Offer**:
In return for your hard work and expertise, you will receive a salary of between £34, 200 - £43,000 (Full Time Equivalent) salary depending on experience, plus access to our extensive benefits package, where most of our benefits are non - contributory.
