**Nursery SEN 1:1 Support**

**30 hours per week**

**9am - 3pm, Monday - Friday, All year round (this is not a term time only role)**

The Carshalton Day Nursery & Pre School are looking for an experienced Nursery SEN 1:1 Support to join their team. Our nursery has a high number of SEN children who will benefit immensely from 1:1 support throughout their day. This role is an exciting opportunity for someone to showcase their passion for SEN in an Early Years setting.

**As a Nursery SEN 1:1 Support, you will**:

- Work on a 1 to 1 basis with children who need additional support to meet their targets.
- Work closely with the Nursery Manager and Local Authority to put strong plans in place to offer high levels of care and support to children and families.
- Thinking outside of the box to provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments and resources, that are appropriate to their age and stage of development.
- Understand and ensure that the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS are met.
- Maintain strictly professional relationships and report any complaints or concerns to management in accordance with company policy and procedures.
- Undertake any other duties to ensure the smooth running of the day, and the safety and wellbeing of children, staff and families.
- Ensure the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene in the nursery, and promote these daily in every routine.

**As a Nursery SEN 1:1 Support, you will need**:

- SENCO qualification - essential
- Level 2 / Level 3 childcare qualification - essential
- Fluent in written and spoken English - essential
- Experience working with SEN children - essential
- Over 1 year’s experience of working in Early Years - essential
- Knowledge of the Statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements - essential
