Step Teachers and a Primary School in Carshalton are partnering to hire a committed Full-Time Year 6 Teacher, who will join their team for 2 terms (Maternity cover) starting in September 2024.

Position: Year 6 Teacher
Location: Carshalton
Duration: 2 terms starting in September 2024 (Maternity cover)

Year 6 Teacher Role:

  • As a Year 6 Teacher, a solid knowledge of the KS2 curriculum is desirable 
  • Maintain a tidy, organized classroom with accessible resources as needed
  • Direct and support any additional staff in the classroom when applicable
  • Able to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
  • Willingness to comply with the school's policies and implement them effectively

Requirements:

  • Hold QTS or its equivalent
  • Have recent experience in mainstream school settings as a Year 6 Teacher
