We are seeking to recruit a driven and experienced S**enior Bookkeeper who is AAT/CAT qualified**, ideally located in **North London**.

Our client is well-established and reputable and is one of London’s fastest growing Accounting and Financial Advisory firms, with a loyal portfolio of over 2000 clients.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Providing Bookkeeping / Management Account services for a diverse portfolio of clients that include Sole Traders, Partnerships, and limited companies;
- Paying vendor invoices and tracking bank account balances;
- Liaising with client managers as well as working directly with clients;
- Preparing financial statements showing business income and expenditure;
- Preparing & submitting quarterly VAT returns;
- Verifying the accuracy of business accounts and alerting the accountant of errors;
- Recording any inconsistencies to help the accountants reconcile inaccuracies;
- Processing payments, invoices, income, and receipts and entering data into accounting software or databases then filing hard copies;
- Developing monthly financial statements including cash flow, profit and loss and balance sheets, assisting reporting accountant;
**Key Requirements**
- Hold either **AAT/ CAT /** qualification;
- Have experience with **Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, Excel, and VT +**;
- Must have a robust knowledge of double entry;
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal;
- Display unquestionable integrity, excellent verbal, and written communication;
- Demonstrate strong logical and analytical skills;
- Excellent time management and organisation skills;
- Ability to work towards tight deadlines;
