As we continue to grow at great speed, we now need a **Senior Bookkeeper** to help us across the total re:act Group.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Regular bookkeeping & accounting processes**
- Bank reconciliations
- Purchase ledger & statement reconciliations
- Recording sales, managing credit control
- Petty cash & expenses
- Prepayments & accruals
- Journal entries - payroll, sales, stock, etc.
- Regular reconciliation of balance sheet items
- Review & filing of VAT returns
- Ad hoc requests regarding bookkeeping where applicable

**Management reporting**
- Preparation of P&Ls / management accounts / Board packs (depending on client requirements)
- Ad-hoc reporting & analysis as required for client and prospective client work

**Systems**
- Gain full understanding of all relevant systems
- Ensure systems are linked/accurate data flowing
- Identify & resolve gaps in knowledge through training

**Supplier & other payments**
- Identify & prepare proposed payment runs
- Set-up of & processing of payment runs
- Communication with suppliers, remittances

**Payroll**
- Assist with the payroll process
- Ensure all employees paid accurately & on time

**Cash flow & budgeting**
- Assist with short-term cash flow forecast

**We are looking for**
- Likely to be AAT or Bookkeeping qualified or part qualified and aiming for completion
- Someone with 7 years+ of experience in bookkeeping role
- **MUST **be QuickBooks Certified and used to connecting banks, payments, importing and integrations with the QuickBooks ecosystem
- Someone who is a decision maker making reasonable choices to deliver results ensuring that the agency cash flow and growth is paramount
- Someone who is hardworking & reliable for your team. This role is at the background of what we do, your colleagues will rely on you to deliver high quality bookkeeping in time for accounts, management accounts and VAT returns
- Thinks that no job is too small - you understand that each task contributes to your success and the success of the organisation

- £28,000-£35,000 depending on experience and responsibility - we have a wide range of customers and can find a portfolio of clients that could support a variety of experience and skill sets
