A Temporary to Permanent opportunity for a Facility letting assistant has arisen at Farnham Heath End School. The position is to provide a service which maintains the cleanliness, security and safety of the school sports facilities and letting areas.

Opening up the site, dealing with customer enquiries, site maintenance and cleaning, organising pitch set up for different bookers, record and assist people with incidents, report incidents to line manager. Working in the main school and outdoor sports areas - enjoyment of sports/theatre is not essential but helpful.

Will need to be flexible and work a pattern of a weekend and evening shift averaging 16 hours per week.
- To be highly customer-focused and therefore deliver the highest standard of customer care by making all visitors feel welcome to the facilities.
- Ensuring the safety of customers and colleagues by keeping all areas hazard-free, maintaining safe working procedures and practices, carrying out regular spot checks, keeping up-to-date records and taking appropriate action where required to minimise risks. Reporting incidents and accidents in accordance with the service operating procedures.
- Ensure all clubs and organisations using the facility are welcomed and stick to the terms and conditions of their bookings. Liaison with the bookings team and the maintenance team in terms of customer feedback and service satisfaction.
- Ensure the facilities are opened on time and locked securely when not in use, that regular building checks take place, that CCTV is operational, anti-social behaviour is avoided and dealt with and reported.
- Contribute to the maintenance and upkeep of the facilities both internally and externally where necessary. Refuse is collected and disposed of regularly and properly. Conduct inspections and reporting of any maintenance of the building or equipment that is required whilst also ensuring that the grounds are presentable and free of litter, debris, weeds etc.
- Ensure that the entire building is presentable, comfortable and clean for customers through the delivery of reactive, daily, weekly and periodical cleaning schedules.
- Awareness of booking management systems and their importance in the effective running of activities at a sports or leisure site.
- Experience in working with the public and providing good customer service

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temp to perm
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: £19,670.00-£23,214.00 per year
