Responsible for the strategic direction, development, and delivery of the company's finance software products - Business Central and Dynamics NAV.
Main Tasks
- Define and implement the product roadmap for the company's finance products (Business Central), including product strategy, feature prioritisation, and release planning.
- Collaborate with internal teams, Rentokil businesses, and other stakeholders to identify market trends and user needs, and translate them into product requirements.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Rentokil internal processes.
- Understand and follow emerging technologies and how they can be applied to the finance systems, with specific awareness of Microsoft's BC roadmap
- Support the project implementation team and ensure that the standard product and Rentokil core extensions are used before taking on any development.
- Mentor and coach team members to ensure that they are able to develop their technical skills and knowledge.

Responsible for managing and leading a team of in-house and 3rd party developers to design, develop and deploy high-quality software projects, mainly as a part of, or related to Business Central and/or Dynamics NAV.
Main tasks
- Lead development projects with a team of in-house and 3rd party developers and ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain BC extensions that support Rentokil internal processes using the latest technologies and methodologies.
- Maintain and provide technical support of existing Business Central extensions and Dynamics NAV in-house developments.
- Mentor and coach team members to ensure that they are able to develop their technical skills and knowledge.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure that code quality and development best practices are maintained.
- Contribute to the Business Central rollouts with the technical expertise and work closely with 3rd party Business Central partners to ensure the cost effective implementation of Business Central localisations.
- Develop and maintain local requirements that are needed to link Rentokil internal extensions with localization extensions.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, test plans, and user manuals.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development.

**Requirements**:
Essential
- At least 5 years of experience in developing and managing ERP software products.
- Strong technical skills in product development.
- At least 5 years of experience in Business Central (AL) or Dynamics NAV (C/AL) development.
- Strong technical skills in software development using the latest technologies and methodologies.
- Experience in leading and managing development projects.

Desirable
- Experience of working in a complex, multi-priority organisation..
- Experience in developing products in Business Central
