**Senior Reception Agent**

**Job brief**

The Oceana Hotels and Restaurants is looking for an experienced Senior Reception Agent to join our team.

You will act as the ‘face’ of our company and ensure visitors receive a heart-warming welcome. You will also coordinate all front desk activities, including calls, reservations and guests’ services.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist the Front Office Manager in all aspects of the department and ensure service standards are followed
- Provides managerial support for Reception in the daily operational duties
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
- Ensure proper staffing and scheduling of all Front Office colleagues in accordance with productivity guidelines
- Train receptionists and fulfil training role in the absence of the trainer
- Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way
- Follow department policies, procedures and service standards
- Handle complaints and specific customers’ requests
- Other duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Proven work experience as a Senior Receptionist
- Thorough knowledge of customer service and office management
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Good organizational and multitasking abilities
- Problem-solving skills
- High School diploma; additional certification is a plus

Pay: £11.44-£12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
